 Are you approved through the State and/or nationally?

Yes, Larock Healthcare Academy is approved by the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. All instructors and curriculums meet the standards of the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. Larock is also approved through the National Healthcareer Association and can offer all graduating students the opportunity for national certification.

 How does your Patient Care program differ from your competition?

Most importantly, Larock Healthcare Academy’s Patient Care Technician program is approved through the National Healthcareer Assocation (NHA). Take your NHA test after completing the program to receive nationally revered credentials behind your name. Larock’s Patient Care Technician program is very competitive in pricing, has flexible schedules and can offer payment plan options. Larock will also work directly with each student to improve resume and cover letter writing skills as well as interviewing skills. At the end of each program, Larock offers a career services workshop focusing on these skills. All instructors have years of experience and are highly qualified.

 How long is your Patient Care program?

Our program runs for a total of 15 weeks, three days a week. Class times vary depending on which schedule you choose. Classes are 4 hours long with 2.5 hours dedicated to lecture and the last 1.5 hours reserved for practical laboratory experience. The entire program runs a total of 174 classroom hours.

 Can I miss a Patient Care class?

You can, but you will need to contact your instructor for the course to find out what make-up requirements they have for you to fulfill the outlined program.

 What does my Patient Care tuition include?

The tuition includes all materials needed for class. Tuition also covers the career services workshop offered at the end of each program.

 Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer flexible tuition payment options. To secure your seat in the class, Larock only requires the $100 (non-refundable) application fee and part of the tuition. From there, we will work with you on the details of the payment plan.

 What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards, debit cards, checks, money orders, cashier checks, WIA and BVR. We also work with several area banks on private loans for our programs. Call us for more details!

 How can I apply to the Patient Care program?

You have a few options available to prospective students for application to the Patient Care training program. You can apply online here. You can also contact one of our admission representatives at (800) 951-3757 to set-up an appointment to complete the application process in-person. The last option available to prospective students is to email or fax your application to (800) 951-3757.

 What happens after I apply?

If you have completed the process via website or e-mail, we will contact you after we’ve received your application to confirm your interest in the program and answer any additional questions you may have about our programs. For the Patient Care Technician class, a One-step Tuberculosis Test with a negative result is required. If you have had this test performed within the past year, we can accept proof to satisfy this requirement.
