Becoming a Certified EKG/Cardiac Monitor Technician
Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for a national credentialing test through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to become a Certified EKG Technician (CET). This is optional and employment is not contingent upon it; however, it will make an individual more competitive in the job market.

Additional Opportunities to complement your EKG Technician Certificate
Upon completion of the EKG Technician program, graduates are eligible to complement their education with a Phlebotomy Technician Certificate and the Patient Care Technician course. The combination of an EKG Technician Certificate, Phlebotomy Technician Certificate and the Patient Care Technician course may result in a Patient Care Technician Certificate, enabling many diverse opportunities in the healthcare field.
