Larock’s EKG / Cardiac Monitor Technician certificate Program teaches students anatomy and physiology, how to hook up and perform an electrocardiogram test, interpret heart rhythms and identify life threatening heart rhythms. Students can expect to perform live EKG tests in class receiving hands-on experience from day one.
As an EKG / Cardiac Monitor Technician, you can work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, cardiac monitor units, doctor’s offices, clinics, emergency departments, and many more.
The EKG/Cardiac Monitor Technician Program is a key component of the Medical Assistant and Patient Care / Multi-Skilled Technician combo Programs. Larock’s combo Programs allow students the opportunity to apply for a variety of different healthcare positions and are crucial in making graduates more marketable to employers.
