Larock’s Patient Care / Multi-Skilled Technician certificate combo program offers students the unique opportunity to earn 4 certificates in the growing fields of Phlebotomy Technician, EKG / Cardiac Monitor Technician, Patient Care Technician, and CPR/AED. Earning these 4 certificates grants graduates the title of a Multi-Skilled Technician and gives them an opportunity to apply for and successfully fill a multitude of positions in the healthcare field.
As a Patient Care / Multi-Skilled Technician you will perform blood and other types of specimen collections, hook-up and print EKG’s from patients, interpret cardiac rhythms, check blood sugars, perform general patient care for hospital patients, and much more. Patient Care / Multi-Skilled Technicians can expect to work in almost any type of healthcare facility working under the supervision of doctors and nurses and alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure top-notch patient care.
